Investment management law firm CapstoneLaw bolsters its European reach with the arrival of Nesbit West as a Partner.
He will be based in Amsterdam and Zurich. Nesbit advises European investment managers on fund formation initiatives including governance, operational implementation and regulatory matters on a wide variety of strategies including private equity, venture capital, infrastructure and real estate. He leads LP fund and co-investment reviews including operational due diligences and portfolio investment transactions. With more than 20 years of experience, he has forged relationships with leading private equity firms, pensions, public/semi-public investment institutions and insurance companies. The addition of Nesbit West follows the addition of Ronald Wijs and Bruce McKay in Q4 2021.

The youngest member of the Asset Management Association Switzerland
The Asset Management Platform Switzerland and the Swiss Funds and Asset Management Association SFAMA will merge in autumn 2020. The merger is intended to strengthen the systematic focus on asset management even further and to underscore its economic importance. We are excited to announce that since September 25, CapstoneLaw Zurich is the youngest member of the Asset Management Association Switzerland and will be an active member of the Limited Qualified Investment Fund (LQIF) working group.
