Mr. el Hachem joined Edmond de Rothschild Group in 2002 where he created Edmond de Rothschild Private Equity. He initiated and developed resilient investment strategies with a forward-looking approach. As current CEO of Edmond de Rothschild Private Equity, he has led its development into a leading Private Equity firm. With over 4.3 billion EUR in assets under management in 2024, Edmond de Rothschild Private Equity has accompanied over 250 global companies and entrepreneurs. It offers a diversified portfolio of 11 differentiating strategies, based on three core themes: growth capital, emerging markets and infrastructure/real assets. All strategies are designed to create long-term value while managing externalities and reducing volatility to achieve sustainable returns. Mr. el Hachem holds a master degree in Financial Engineering from ESSEC business School (France), and a Bachelor of Science in Banking & Finance and Political Science from the Lebanese American University. Corinne is Head of Investor Relations and a member of the Executive Board of EBL Infrastruktur Management AG, a collective investment scheme manager focusing on sustainable energy infrastructure. In her current role, she is responsible for the distribution of a SICAV-RAIF fund that invests in renewable energy infrastructure – an area with a clear sustainability focus and growing importance for ESG-oriented investors. With over 27 years of experience in serving wealthy institutional and private clients, Corinne has a deep understanding of financial markets and client needs. She began her career in 1998 in private banking at UBS, followed by senior positions at Credit Suisse, Bank Julius Bär and Bank Vontobel. In 2024, she made a conscious move from the banking world to the energy industry in order to focus on sustainable investments in the future. Corinne holds a degree in business administration and a master’s degree in banking & finance from the University of Applied Sciences Northwestern Switzerland.
Nico co-founded Mill Reef Capital, a GP-led secondaries firm in 2019. Previously, he was the Head of Secondaries at Schroders Adveq and he began his career in 2007 at Partners Group. Nico holds a M.A. and a Ph.D. from the University of St. Gallen, Switzerland. Mill Reef Capital is a GP-led specialist fund with EUR 700m of AUM focusing on small buyout and lower middle-market transactions across Europe. Mill Reef Capital provides a full spectrum of solutions to GPs, including single- and multi-asset continuation vehicles, preferred equity, tender offers, financing for add-ons, late primary capital and strip sales amongst others.
Ralph Aerni is a Managing Director and Head of Client Solutions in EMEA, based in the firm’s Frankfurt and Zurich offices. Prior to joining Hamilton Lane in 2021, Ralph served on investment committees and boards of institutional investors and as Head of Business Development with a Swiss asset manager. Before that, Ralph was a co-owner and the Chief Investment Officer of SCM AG, a private markets investment firm, from 2003 until the trade sale to Mercer in 2015. At Mercer Private Markets, Ralph served as Chairman of the Investment Committee and global Co-Chief Investment Officer. Ralph started his career in corporate banking at UBS in 1989. Ralph received a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Applied Sciences in Zurich, Switzerland.
Markus is Managing Partner at Investment Associates with 20 years of experience sourcing and placing opportunities across private equity, credit, real assets, and impact investing. He previously held senior roles at UBS Wealth Management, Credit Suisse Asset Management, and CB Richard Ellis. Markus holds a Master in Finance from MIT and a Master in Architecture from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology.
Andrew is the co-founder and managing partner of 4BIO Capital. Andrew has over twenty years of experience in senior financial management roles across various industries, including McKinsey & Co, HSBC Bank Plc and profine GmbH. He has been an active investor in biotechnology start-ups since 2009. Andrew sits on the Ascend Advanced Therapies, Trogenix, and NV Therapeutics boards. Before co-founding 4BIO, he launched and served as a Partner and CIO of the biotech investment practice at Enso Ventures. Andrew served on the boards of several public and private biotechnology companies, including Redpin Therapeutics, Egalet Corp (NASDAQ: EGLT), Image Analysis, and Vascular Flow Technologies. Andrew is the Managing Partner and CFO of 4BIO Capital, leading the investment and structuring side of the business. He is in charge of the general management of the firm, managing the firm and 4BIO funds‘ finances and overseeing the risk management of 4BIO funds. Andrew has an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a MSc in Economics from St Petersburg State University (summa cum laude).
Stéphane has been involved in IT projects since 1998. As the Microsoft technologies lead consultant with Ausy Luxembourg since 2008, he managed various projects for financial institutions involving asset management, ALM, European market infrastructure regulation, discretionary client advisory services, ManCo client support setups, Olympic and Multifonds reporting and systems for external auditors in large-scale and secure database environments. During his career, Stéphane has also worked for a wide variety of financial services companies, including KPMG, Crédit Suisse, Schroders, Foyer, and Capital@Work. In 2019, Stéphane launched the FinTech „FundProcess“ with the vision that integrating IDE („integrated coding environment“) within Asset Manager Core Systems is the key to achieving the technological agility required by the sector
Jacques Bally is the founder, Chairman, and CEO of Bally Capital Advisors established in November 2003 after more than 20 years of experience in Private Banking at leading institutions in Geneva and Zurich. He holds a degree from the University of Lausanne and is fluent in French, English, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, and German. Early in his banking career, he led Private Banking teams with a focus on Latin American markets. Under his leadership, Bally Capital has grown into an industry-respected independent asset manager. The firm prioritizes capital preservation, value-oriented investments, and guiding clients through the increasingly complex global regulatory environment. A unique and highly noteworthy area of Jacques Bally’s expertise is his active involvement in high-quality investments in gold and gold mining—a rare and niche focus within the Swiss wealth management landscape.
Hans Moritz, founding partner of CapstoneLaw, is based in Zurich and counsels international and domestic asset managers, funds, institutional and private investors, banks, and other financial intermediaries on investment management, domestic and international fund formation, corporate matters, compliance and financial regulations. He advises clients on a wide range of semi liquid and illiquid strategies including private equity, private credit, venture capital, infrastructure and real estate and is experienced in fund interest acquisitions, negotiation of co-investments, management company restructurings and spin-outs. He regularly represents clients in proceedings with the Swiss Financial Market Supervisory Authority FINMA, Swiss Supervisory Organisations and the Swiss Occupational Pension Supervisory Commission. Hans Moritz received his Doctorate in Law from the University of Lausanne (2004) and his Master in European and International Economic Law from LMU Munich (2003).
