Bo has over 35 years of experience in the venture capital and technology sector. A technologist at heart, he believes in the transformative – and at times the magical effects technology can deliver to everyone. He always applies a global view to business challenges. From his current base in Switzerland, Bo has developed NGP Capital from initial commitments of $25M to more than $1.6B, investing in the US, Europe, and China. Bo has, through his portfolio, generated more than $10B in shareholder value. Bo’s current investment interests lie within enterprise software, cybersecurity, the digitalization of industries, and Web 3.0. Some of the investments that Bo has led at NGP Capital include Shippeo, Babbel, Perception Point, NILT, Moovit, Scandit, GetYourGuide, Deliveroo, and Drivy. Bo graduated with honors with a master’s degree in Electronics Engineering from Aalborg University, Denmark.
Victor Jung is a Managing Director and Head Digital Assets of Hamilton Lane, based in Zurich where he leads technology and digital initiatives in relation to products, assets, clients, distribution channels, and applying diverse technologies. Prior joining Hamilton Lane, Victor was Head of Liquid Private Markets and Distribution Partners APAC and Head of Client Solutions Southeast Asia, Hong Kong and Taiwan for Partners Group based in Singapore. Victor started his career at KB Asset Management as an investment manager in the Alternative Investment Division. Victor is a thought leader in the fintech/wealth tech industry having led market’s first digitized private markets solutions via partnerships with leading fintechs throughout his career. Victor received a B.A. in Politics and International Relations from Korea University. He is a Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM).
Marc is co-founder and Managing Partner of Syz Capital. With over 18 years of investment experience, he leads the firm’s direct investments and is a member of the Executive and Investment Committees. Prior to that, he was Managing Director at ACE & Company, a global co-investment group. He led the Asian, Hong Kong-based expansion for the group and managed several investment portfolios focusing on Europe and Asia. Marc used to be Head of Capital Markets & Equity Sales at Union Bancaire Privée in Geneva. He started his career as derivatives trader and worked at Credit Suisse First Boston in the Structured Products division. Marc has a broad expertise in capital markets, asset management and alternative investments across geographies and holds an Executive MBA from INSEAD.
Richard Hickman, Managing Director for HVPE, is responsible for the day-to-day management of the company. Richard is on the investment committee who manages HVPE’s asset allocation and exposures in line with the strategic direction set by the HVPE Board. Richard joined HarbourVest in 2014 after seven years with 3i plc. His experience also includes working as a manager in Deloitte’s finance and operations management team in London. He is a member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants and received a BSc in Economic History from the London School of Economics and Political Science in 2001.
Martin is the Head of Private Equity at Swiss Re, leading a team focused on the company’s private equity investments. He started at Swiss Re in 2004, contributing to its hedge fund strategy, and later moved to New York and Hong Kong to manage investments and oversee direct investment activities in Asia. In 2019, he returned to Zurich as Regional Head Principal Investments & Acquisitions Asia and joined the Asset Management Leadership Team in 2023. He’s been pivotal in corporate development and reinsurance business restructuring across Asia. Born in 1978 in Switzerland, Fehr holds an economics degree from the University of St. Gallen and an MBA exchange from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business, USA. He is also a CFA charterholder.
Thomas has been with Marcuard Family Office since August 2010. He is heading the multi-family office’ investment activities in private markets. Prior to MFO, Thomas worked for the alternative investment boutique Horizion21 as a Senior Investment Professional in the private equity division, member of the Investment Committee for all private equity funds of funds, responsible for fund selection, co-investments, and secondary market transactions in the EMEA region. Thomas started his career in private equity fund selection in 2002 at fund-of-funds manager LODH Private Equity (today part of Unigestion).
Daniel Emmenegger is Head of Strategy and Research and Deputy Head of Investments at Asga Pensionskasse, one of the largest Swiss multi-employer corporate pension funds. In his role he is responsible for strategic considerations of Asga’s asset allocation and portfolio management. He is also a member of the Investment Committee. Prior to Asga, he worked most recently at Profond Vorsorgeeinrichtung as Investment Manager and Complementa as Investment Consultant/Controller. Daniel received his Master of Science degree in Economics from the University of Lausanne (2008) and completed the Swiss Program for Beginning Doctoral Students in Economics at the Study Center Gerzensee (2009).
Jacques Chillemi joined Rothschild & Co Bank AG following the acquisition of Hermance Capital Partners in 2021 (through the acquisition of Banque Pâris Bertrand). Prior to the acquisition, Jacques co-founded Hermance Capital Partners, an investment boutique dedicated to Private Market investments in 2015. While at Hermance Capital Partners, he built a strong platform providing private markets investment solutions to Private Banks and Pension Funds in Switzerland. Prior to that, he was Head of Private Equity at Pictet & Cie. During his tenure of 11 years, he led the effort in selecting private equity investment opportunities in Primary, Secondary and Co-Investments. In addition, he managed private equity discretionary mandates and the Monte Rosa Funds. During his tenure, he committed close to $4bn in Primary, Secondary and Co-investments opportunities. Jacques started his professional career at UBS in 1999. He joined the Corporate Finance department at UBS Investment Bank (former UBS Warburg) in Zurich with a role in advising institutional clients with all M&A related activities. Most projects he was involved with were sales of non-core assets from large quoted companies to PE firms.
Hans Moritz, founding partner of CapstoneLaw, is based in Zurich and counsels international and domestic asset managers, funds, institutional and private investors, banks, and other financial intermediaries on investment management, domestic and international fund formation, corporate matters, compliance and financial regulations. He advises clients on a wide range of semi liquid and illiquid strategies including private equity, private credit, venture capital, infrastructure and real estate and is experienced in fund interest acquisitions, negotiation of co-investments, management company restructurings and spin-outs. He regularly represents clients in proceedings with the Swiss Financial Market Supervisory Authority FINMA, Swiss Supervisory Organisations and the Swiss Occupational Pension Supervisory Commission. Hans Moritz received his Doctorate in Law from the University of Lausanne (2004) and his Master in European and International Economic Law from LMU Munich (2003).
