CapstoneLaw PAN European Private Funds Lawyers’ Roundtable
Times are more uncertain than they have been in years. Across the global private market landscape incl. private equity, infrastructure, and real estate deal volume plunged, as the ripple effects of the COVID-19 pandemic proliferated across multiple geographies. However, things may turn faster than some anticipate, and moreover, many market participants remain opportunistic. Capital raised is expected to significantly increase in H2 2020, due to a number of open mega-funds that are still working through allocation targets; smaller sponsors are catching up fairly quick. Leading industry experts will discuss current trends on fund formation and distribution activities including trends in legal and commercial terms, the impact of Covid and country specific developments in certain European countries, incl. Switzerland, Luxembourg, Germany and the UK.
